"Serenity" is a painting of a very common scene in rural Bangladesh - the fishing pond. Some of these ponds are so large they can be easily mistaken for lakes or even seas. Here, serenity is depicted by the light pastel washes that made up the vegetation on the water surface and the still waters that seem to hold up the fishing boat and its people.
